TextQ—A User Friendly Tool for Exploratory Text Analysis

As the amount of textual data available on Internet grows substantially each year, there is a need for tools to assist with exploratory analysis. Furthermore, democratize process text analytics, must be usable those non-technical background and who do not have financial resources outsource their analysis needs. To that end, we developed TextQ, which provides simple, intuitive interface data. We also tested efficacy TextQ using two case studies performed by subject matter experts—one related project detection cyberbullying communication another user Twitter influence operations. was able efficiently over million social media messages provide valuable insights directly assisted in our research efforts these topics. built an open access platform object-oriented architecture ease use installation.
